A) Duties and powers:
1- Preparation and proposal of the park’s policies, guidelines and strategic plan for the proposal in the board of trustees
2- Proposing the policy, policies, criteria of attraction, acceptance, establishment, support and cancellation of the establishment license of technological units to the specialized scientific council for approval within the framework of the approvals of the board of trustees.
3- Management of all park affairs and supervision of their proper implementation according to the statutes and resolutions of the board of trustees;
4- Proposing the organizational structure and organization of the park, setting up all regulations and also changing and amending them according to the rules and regulations of the board of trustees for going through legal procedures.
5- Recruiting and employing human resources to carry out park missions within the framework of relevant laws and regulations
6- Appointing and dismissing deputies, advisors and officials of the park based on the organizational structure and approved organization of the park
7- Signing contracts, binding documents, financial, administrative and correspondence documents of the park within the framework of the relevant rules and regulations
8- Proposing the establishment or liquidation of specialized campuses, growth centers, scientific service centers, technology, innovation and other types of units needed for discussion and review to the Scientific and Technological Council
9- Submitting the report on the performance of specialized campuses, growth centers, scientific service centers, technology, innovation and other units of the park to the Science and Technology Council
